S.N. Bateman lives and works in New York (not the city). An award-winning author and copywriter, she writes snarky, action-packed urban fantasy with complex characters and unique twists on the familiar.

When not writing, she enjoys hanging outside, watching horror movies, and finding new ways to put up pretty lights in and around her house. Her home is shared with her husband and son, Australian shepherd Ash, and sister cats Luna and Nova -- who hate each other, as sisters do.
